February 23, 2020: Fr. Daniel Returns to Lockport

Dear Parishioners,

With gratitude to God for journey mercies granted me for safe travels. I thank you for your prayers and care while I was away for my canonical vacation. I thank Fr. Jerry, our guest priests, our Seminarian, John Callahan, staff and indeed, everyone who helped us in our Liturgies. As a community, you all prayed for me. I arrived safe and sound. I am back to the parish.

My mom and family extend their greetings to you. It was a beautiful time with my family, especially with my mom. I am so glad I was able to see my family again after three years. It was a wonderful re-union with everyone at home. Good weather up there, no snow, above 80 degrees. Can you imagine…

Again, I thank you all for your words of encouragement, your beautiful cards, text messages, phone calls, emails and for your continued support for our parish here in Lockport. I believe together we can build a community where everyone is loved and welcomed.

As we serve God together, I pray our labor will not be in vain.

May All the Saints continue to intercede for us. Amen.

Fr. Daniel
